John J. Teressi transitioned to Other Dimensions on September 20th, 2025. John and I met in 1969 and were dedicated to each other for fifty-six years, interrupted by fourteen years when he was in Europe, and I was in the Far East. We returned to each other in 2001 until he passed in September.
He was diagnosed with Interstitial Lung Disease in 2023. That disease creates scar tissue, which eventually hardens the lungs. Google said that he could live for two or three years. I immediately started looking for cures. A few looked promising. I followed leads. Research is underway, but it will take several years to regenerate the lungs.
The first year, he seemed okay. In 2024, his second year, he needed oxygen at home and a portable unit for travel. He wanted to take his last trip to the Monterey Peninsula. We drove there and visited old friends. It was lovely.
Last year, 2025, he got much worse. He couldn’t eat much and lost 50 pounds. (He was a slender person, 5′ 10″ and 180 pounds of muscle.) I was his caretaker, and then called in Hospice to help at home. They were wonderful.
It was a Saturday morning when I found him unmoving in his bed. I couldn’t believe he was gone. I cried and lay my head on his chest, holding him tight. After about an hour, I calmed down and sat by his bed, meditating. Almost immediately, I saw a vision of him looking wonderful. standing upright on the other side of the bed with his body still lying there, cold and unmoving.
He was smiling. “I’m okay,” he said. “It is good to be free of the body. It was so uncomfortable!” He looked directly at me with the kind of intensity that he often displayed. “Yes, we are Soulmates. I am fusing your soul to mine. We will be in sync throughout time together.”
After contacting Hospice, a Lady Chaplain came to my home and arranged everything for John’s body to be picked up and eventually cremated as he desired. She sat with me for several hours, and I told her stories about my dear, sweet friend and love. Over the next few days, I felt John’s presence, then I decided to ask him a question.
On September 24, 2025, I asked John, “What’s happening now?”
John answered, “I am just resting in the Love.”
I asked, “Is it like a cloud of Love?”
He answered, “No, it is a clarity of Love. It fills you and heals your soul.”
NOTE: Managing all the details of John’s Trust and working with the attorneys took considerable time. I definitely suggest you set up a trust for your family, as it provides a clear path for distributing what you want to share.
On October 11, 2025, I received a communication from John. As you read this, remember, we will each have our own experience of the afterlife when we pass into other dimensions.
John spoke to me from another Dimension, and I wrote what I heard. I also asked questions.
John: “It is lonely without you. You are my buddy and the closest person in any of my lives. It’s true. Yes, we are soulmates. We share an Oversoul, the creative source of many sub-souls, you might call us. The Oversoul has a wide consciousness, rather like Elon Musk having many independent, individualized, yet connected businesses.” The Oversoul has many sub-souls.
Verlaine: “Is there such a thing as meeting or seeing the Oversoul?”
John: “Not really. Not yet. Maybe as we develop, but we can sense its presence.”
Verlaine: “Is it like a ‘God’?
John: “Sort of, but it is stepped down from the all-encompassing Source, The All that Is.”
Verlaine: “Tell me more about your experience.
John: “There is no time here as we know it, but events can unfold in a kind of rhythm.”
Verlaine: “Like Rhythm and Rhyme in your book?” * (See information at the end of this message.)
John: “Yes, in a way. Here, you are brought to revelatory experiences, which match your current rhythm and rhyme, often referred to as a vibrational field, so that you meet people who match your tone, and some slightly higher who help raise your awareness.
“I spend ‘time’ reviewing the layers – tonalities of these ‘heavenly’ landscapes. The study reveals that many people who are ‘anxious’ and not living in harmony with the life force continue experiencing their upsets and grievances after death. It takes a great deal of effort, or rather surrender, to actually appreciate the immense Love that is ever-present.”
Verlaine: “Are there apparent ‘angels’ helping those people and guiding the newcomers?”
John: “Yes, they appear as light forms that take on a human appearance, but the light radiates out, creating the appearance of wings.
Verlaine: “Have you created your house on the otherside? “ (John designed homes in the Luberon Valley in France, and he was constantly updating a drawing of a house he would have liked to build.)
John: “Yes, I’ve created a dwelling, a sanctuary, that is like the drawing I kept working on. It is made of a luminescent material, and any wall can become transparent to enjoy the view, which I change according to my mood…forest, mountain, seashore. You’d love it!
“It only took what seemed to be an instant to make this semi-solid structure, and then I kept fiddling with it to try different design ideas.”
Verlaine: “Was it fun to do? You must be able to remember your physical senses?”
John: “Yes, it is fun! You’re right in that I can approximate and remember my senses, but the body is marvelous…if you are healthy. The world looks beautiful and very peaceful from here – although I am not listening to the news.”
Verlaine: “Would you like to communicate again. I could type it next time.”
John: “Yes, I would like to do this again. We can have you type, but your handwriting is so pretty. (Pause) Your hand is cramping.” (It was.)
“Know that your thoughts and thinking are on the right track. I am glad you are taking the time to rest and are watching great spiritual and financial programs. They will be your two major areas of expertise for a good life. I love you, Sweetie. Keep listening. John T.”

I heard John speaking to me and wrote down his words.
John: “You haven’t felt me recently because you have been intensely focused on the mundane world of things, energy in the form of money, and repair of your body and home. That is the right activity for you right now.
“I am expansiveness, growing, learning the grandeur of other dimensions filled with Source Energy that is forming, creating tonalities of sound and frequency beyond human senses, yet available through energy fields that allow disruption, fluctuation, resilience, and flow. The patterns shift, move, and intermingle like a Kaleidoscope, playing variable patterns with ease, initiated through dreamlike sequences of rhythm and rhyme.
“We are not lost to one another, for we are connected at the deepest levels of consciousness, ever-present, always in sync, flowing with the rhythm as dancers without planning, light as feathers with no gravity to bind us to a land-based concept of reality.
“Allow the dreams to come to fill your heart and mind with the intensity of Love rarely experienced in human form. Relish the delicious flavor of existence that knows no bounds. You are the wings, the current, and the energy flow that lifts your awareness above the expected result of a living life.
“You are my representative on earth, and the angels rejoice in your caring for others so deeply. You lift the spirits of all who come in contact with you. Know it! Allow the joy to rise now!”
Later in November, I heard his voice again, ready to communicate.
Before I passed out from dehydration and fell, breaking my ankle, the day before Thanksgiving, John sent me this message. He is quite a poet. I am currently editing the book he wrote, Permission to Breathe, An Art & Poetry Metaphysical Journey. (The title was selected before he learned about the lung disease.)
John spoke about his observation of the world:
MOLECULES SPINNING
“Slip, slide, the game is rushed.
Molecules spinning,
electrical current bending.
A world surrendering.
Raising vibrations create confusion.
Too much hidden.
Too much life-giving freedom
is forbidden.
Ride the waves like an expert surfer,
learn their technique.
Or see the horse and rider
jumping the hurdles.
They cannot pause.
They cannot wait.
The basic game is survival.
That is the key.
Trust your guidance,
and you will be free.
Laugh at the stories,
for they are all gone.
Holding on is the only thing
that is wrong.
You are safe in the wondrous
arms of the angels,
and I am always with thee.
